Judge Mablean Ephriam host

A Tribute to Pat Tobin featuring Michael Ward

Pat Tobin and Tobin and Associates are celebrating 25  years in business and we will host along with Judge Mablean Ephriam a special tribute to Pat and her company.

Ms. Tobin has become one of the most prominent African American owned public relations firms in the nation and we are grateful for all the assistance she has shown us over the years.

Since 2003, the Pat Tobin Scholarship Fund, a 5o1@3 non-profit entity, has existed with the specific purpose of providing financial support in the form of internships, college scholarships and grants to graduating high school seniors or college students in the Greater Los Angeles area majoring in marketing and public relations. 

Violinist Michael Ward will provide the entertainment for the evening.

A Musicians Heaven

The First Aqua Lounge All-Star Pro Jam Session

Many of today's most accomplished musicians will play the Aqua Lounge this night. Some of them go on the road frequently with artist like: Prince, Janet Jackson, Byonce, Lenny Kravitz and many more hitmakers. This night will is scheduled for the musicians to gather, sit in and let it all hang-out. If you are a musician or singer we welcome you to come on down and share your talent. Hosted by renoun saxophonist Walter Davis & DJ/Vocalist Resso from the Clueless Band.

Don't miss the 1st in a series of Jam Sessions as musicians from all over the country (who are in town) and a very special guest have been invited to stop in.

Aaron Akins plays the Aqua 

You've heard Nat King Cole, but you never heard him like this. In honor of Nat King Cole's Birthday, Aaron Akins presents

A Contemporary Urban Tribute to Nat King Cole. Aaron will, also, sing original tunes and perform his groundbreaking hit "God Made Women Beautiful." Akins' music is a contemporary blend of Urban, R&B and Jazz. The Chicago native had the honor of performing for The Pope at the Vatican. At Holland's North Sea Jazz Festival, he sang alongside great vocalists and musicians like Herbie Hancock, Al Jarreau, Eric Clapton and Rahsaan Patterson. Aaron has, also shared the bill with Anthony Hamilton and Angie Stone.

About Marc Gaspard 

Brief Bio

I was born and raised in Southern California. Attended Crenshaw High and Cal State University Long Beach receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree in Radio/TV. Over the years, I’ve worked in both Radio and TV. I'm also a proud member of the mighty Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

I’ve also been promoting clubs and concerts since 1982. Clubs like Flanigans, Club 836, Oscos, The Bit-n-Apple, Jonahs by the Sea, Corniche, Dillons, Shark Club, Danceteria, Hollywood Live, Safe Sex, the Crossroads, which I later bought and re-named the  Bourbon St. Grotto, and now the Aqua Lounge. I also assist in the marketing of Stevie's Creole Café of Encino.
